Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how Automoves Ltd. (“Automoves,” “we,” “us,” “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website (https://www.automoves.com) and web platform. For privacy-related concerns, please read our Privacy Policy.
We only use analytics and advertising cookies if you consent. Essential cookies are always on because the website cannot work without them.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They let the website remember information about your visit, such as whether you are logged in or which cookie choices you made.
We also use similar technologies, such as pixels and tags. These are small pieces of code that send information about your visit to us or to our service providers. In this policy, “cookies” includes these technologies.
Cookies can be:
- First-party: set by Automoves.
- Third-party: set by another company, such as Google or Meta, through our website.
- Session: deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent: kept on your device until they expire or you delete them.

| Functional | Provides features such as maps and address lookup | Not required where needed to deliver a feature you use |
| Analytics | Helps us understand how visitors use the website, so we can improve it | Off until you consent |

For WordPress website forms, request verification uses nonce tokens rather than a separate CSRF cookie. The [hash] suffix identifies the WordPress installation. These login cookies describe website accounts, not the separate Automoves ONE platform.
Google Tag Manager loads our analytics and advertising tools. It does not set its own cookies, and it does not load analytics or advertising tools until you consent.
Third-party cookies are governed by those companies own policies: Google Privacy Policy and Meta Privacy Policy.
4. Your choices
When you first visit our website, a cookie banner lets you accept or decline analytics and advertising cookies. These cookies stay off unless you choose to accept them. Declining does not affect your ability to use the website.
You can change your choice at any time:
- Cookie settings: use the “Cookie settings” link in our website footer.
- Browser settings: block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the website, such as login, from working.
- Meta: manage ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings.
- Google Analytics: install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Interest-based advertising: opt out through the Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada at youradchoices.ca.
Withdrawing consent stops new information from being collected. It does not delete information already collected; to request deletion, contact us (section 7).
5. Quebec residents
Under Quebec law, any technology that can identify, locate, or profile you is turned off by default. We only activate analytics and advertising cookies after you give express consent through our cookie banner.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add, remove, or change cookies. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If we add a new analytics or advertising tool, we will ask for your consent again before it is activated.
